These villains, also add Killer Moth, and not only those but it would’ve been cool to see owl man like he slides Into the Arkhamverse from another verse and we fight him or Vicki Vale could’ve turned into the children of Arkham just like the tell tale series but the Arkham version and I think the TMNT should’ve had a dlc I mean the comics and movie had a dc and TMNT crossover but when you think about it TMNT is perfect for dc like they could’ve made their own Arkhamverse turtles like the Hamato clan and foot clan were also enemies against the league of assassins and mutagen was actually made with the same stuff as the Titan formula and shredder could have a base boss fight as he’s just as skilled as Ra’s Al Ghul and Deathstroke and a super shredder boss fight would be perfect because he always felt like a Titan bane or Titan joker type character. The comics of TMNT were dark and I feel like they could make the last ronin also part of the dc story line that Mikey becoming the last ronin makes him like AZRAEL a person who is just like Batman and we can interact with last ronin Mikey and assist him at taking down shredder. Also they need like a UE5 update or a new gen upgrade. Black spider would also be cool since he’s like a dc spider man or a villain and he’s actually appeared in the Assault on Arkham movie which is confirmed canon to the Arkhamverse so technically he has fought black spider but fighting him in the Arkham Games especially knight would’ve been insane because it feels like every Batman villain ever needs to be in this game to be the ULTIMATE Batman game or even the ULTIMATE SUPERHERO game of ALL TIME.

I'll never understand why people don't acknowledge the fact that comicbook characters have infinite versions, and a character like superman can be in all the universe. Just pick an interesting place, make a weaker superman, and choose a interesting villain. Why does a videogame superman have to be a 1 to 1 adaption of the one from the main universe comics?

After hearing what I believe was the dev talk about the game with passion and say how good his team was and wasn't cocky I am willing to give it a go but I do understand that VR just doesn't work for some and I really don't like exclusive games because you end up with situations like resi 7 VR been stuck on the fist gen psvr when PC would run it like a champ

Here's the thing, the Arkham series is about the relationship between Joker and Batman. Full stop. It was always supposed to be about them. However there are several different factors that made Knights narrative arguably weaker and less engaging

For me both are really great games the spiderman 2018 is better in overall story and miles morales is better in combat mechanism❤❤🗿🗿 And The arkham games are the same great game as well❤️❤️🗿🗿

I’m sure it’s complicated as hell, but it’d be great if they had like, 8 more playable characters in order to make 2 other squads and allowed the player to make your own squad with any of the 12 options for playable characters. My picks for new squads would be: Parasite (obvious choice to fight evil Superman) Killer Frost Mirror Master Deathstroke Metallo (another obvious choice to fight evil Superman) Livewire Katana Bronze Tiger

For green lantern a multiplayer game where you can create your own character and play with friends unlocking new constructs would be interesting

Looking back this game wasn't too bad compared to SSKTJL but the subpar gameplay and lack of any good dlc support killed the game too fast.

The first game is my favorite because the story felt better told and the characters had more time (I think) to develop. The 2nd game could have focused just on Kraven or better yet, could’ve taken longer to dispose of him once Venom got introduced. It felt rushed to me and I didn’t really like the way they’ve written Venom.

If I had to pick one villain to add in the game would be Anarky. He’d be a perfect third party for the main story, opposing both the Knights and the Court of Owls due to his views on authority. I hoped they’d put James Gordon Jr. in the game too. Such a wasted opportunity.

I wasn’t reminded of Batman Arkham for better or worse so credit I guess. Lol It felt like a run of the mil early 2000s early 3D DC superhero games for me. 😂 Nothing felt like a serious modern blockbuster scale experience. The gameplay loop was way too generic. I have to admit I mildly enjoy the game, but not to a serious degree of wow this is refreshing never done before gripping type experience. You can tell this game was poorly structured what the core gameplay was originally designed to be. Basically, I just wished we had a better, less boring gameplay with this game. A very uninteresting, very flawed missed opportunity game though. And this is coming from someone that platinum it. I don’t hate it, but extremely forgettable. :p

I really just want an Arkham Origins sequel at this point

With the story, the opening scene with Batman getting killed was ballsy. However, they somehow bring Bruce back only to just kill him off again in kamikaze style. Sure, that ending was still light years of what SSKTJL gave us with treating Batman with respect, but just taking this game by itself? The decision to bring back Bruce only to kill him off again, just....... wasn't good. Court of Owls just felt....underutilized. From what I can tell, there were also some stuff which happened in a character's solo playthrough that should have been reflected in the group cutscenes which didn't. Funny how The Dark Knight film's movie tie-in game was supposed to have Nemesis system originally, and that got rejected giving rise to the Arkham series by Rocksteady. One thing I'll add is the whole grind to get those fast travel mechanics. I don't think I've seen anyone who likes that grind lol

It was blatantly obvious that it was Jason Todd from the first trailer with the Arkham Knight. Voice sounds somewhat young, dual wield pistols and then they to “throw us off” they announce that Red Hood is a DLC. Huh it’s like any comic fan could put two and two together. I was hoping to god that it wasn’t Jason Todd the entire game but hey whenever you don’t bring back Paul Dini and have lousy writing as a result through most of the game

With the gadgets being objectively made harder to use, i feel Spider-Man 1 beats Spider-Man 2. In combat, and story. I don't think anyone's saying the traversal is better in 1.

I know this game is like 5 6 years old. But playing it today doesn’t necessarily feel like OMG I can see the dated downgrades after playing the likes of Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2. Lol But I do recognize how improved the later games became. What definitely doesn’t hold up as well for me was the scope of the side quest. :p Not that they were all terrible. But I enjoy hearing your opinions. Batman Arkham Asylum for example, I can still enjoy that game now without the amazing improvements and extra gadgets from the sequels. I have to remind myself if Arkham City didn’t exist. I agree about the plot presentation in the first game being the strongest. I knew something felt off or lacking in Spider-Man 2. The gadgets, and suit abilities were not as creatively well done as the first. I guess I do like the first more in terms of story to be honest. I do like Spider-Man 2 more overall for the gameplay improvements. That’s what matters enough for me. I didn’t mind what we got, but I’d be lying if I thought it was next level masterpiece. You made interesting points between the two I genuinely agree on. But so far, I am not disappointed where we are so far for Insomniac Spider-Man franchise. I won’t be sad if the third game is the last so long as it’s a satisfyingly perfect conclusive experience.

Superman from the 60s and 70s was strong enough to move planets and faster than light. IDK, I’m just an old school Superman fan. I just want someone to go all out for him and give him his due

Hush needed to succeed in overthrowing Bruce. Making Batman's comms dead, his batcaves inaccessible, batmobile gone, detective mode and map nonfunctional etc. and make Batman stranded as he struggles with his psyche, the fear toxin bomb and all the rest. Wayne Tower in lockdown and Batman needs to infiltrate it with his most basic ninja skills from the sewer level and fight everyone (Hush's new security) on the way, but before that Hush joins the fun of main villains and starts to broadcast facts about Bruce as if he is giving live autobiography with material from Hugo and whatever else he knows. Meanwhile on the streets someone like White Shark's gang or Prometheus bumps into Batman and rattles him. Hush is the one thing I waited to really raise the stakes and I couldn't believe his part was so tiny and irrelevant. If he stripped all of Batman's tech and allies at a critical moment and figuratively pushed him down into the pit when he was already at the brink it would have escalated things well. And done right Hush could have done it off-the-camera so when the comms suddenly go quiet and Bruce starts to talk on air with Scarecrow it could be played out as "is this a dream thing, is this fake, is Strange or Ra's or Hush back, or what" in players mind.

Considering how far Insomniac has come, it would probably be DLC. However, I wouldn’t be mad if we got the title “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Origins”. We might even get the classic suit with the original webbed pits that are exposed and not built into the suit, which may be a cool addition.

The only thing that can make this a good Batman game is if it's not like Arkham VR which is more like a Batman experience this game needs to play like Batman Arkham Knight City Origins but in VR that's what could make this a god tier Batman game like Predator moments in VR could be cool combat I know it's crazy but it should it zooms out a VR to third person and you play like a traditional Batman game I don't think anyone would have a problem with that

For me id make it a sequel to Knight and have Prometheus and Deacon Blackfire as the main villains. Blackfire would use this new Nightmare Batman as ammunition to finally fuel his cult and followers and "cleanse" gotham as they believe its actually a demon. This causes Prometheus to work with Blackfire to vow to slay this "demon" for them and become gothams new savior. Blackfire takes over gotham and any citizen who doesnt join him are imprisoned, while Prometheus takes control of the Gotham police, tricking them into thinking he's the new savior and turn the city against Nightmare Batman. This causes Bruce to come back as Batman and tone down his usage of the fear toxin, realizing his new myth has backfired and put everyone in danger. As a new mechanic, im replacing the FEAR mechanic with the new Nightmare mode. During predator sections, you can use Nightmare mode to temporarily become nightmare Batman. During this, you are invincible and can take down enemies even if they see you. The drawback is detective mode is turned off, your gadgets cant be used. When Nightmare mode runs out, you cant use it again for the remainder of the predator section. It automatically refills after the section is completed. Also, im keeping the batfamily out of this game as they parted ways. Instead, ill have Azrael as the secondary playable character. He'll have his own sub plot where hes taking down the order. Through this optional side content, you find out Blackfire used to be with the order but was excommunicated for his extreme beliefs, and Prometheus is actually a Knight for the Order and plans to slay batman AND blackfire and take over Gotham for the order, making this one whole big conspiracy, with the Order pulling all the strings
